Science week in year 4 brought a range of different activities with it: To coincide with the start of our new topic 'Solids, liquids & gases' the children had a particle disco to try to represent each state.

Investigations were also underway. 4C wanted to find out what the most strenuous exercise activity was, so they devised an experiment using our pulse rates to measure how hard the activity was. The activities ranged from short bursts of sprinting, catching a ball, skipping and hula hooping. We also had to find our resting pulse rate as well, so that we had something to compare to.
