Our school uniform was designed to achieve the following aims:
- To create a happy, secure, safe and caring environment in which all our children flourish and feel that they belong
- To be an inclusive school which sets high standards for all children, including disadvantaged, and supports children and their families to achieve those standards. To be a school in which every child is able to be themselves and value their own unique qualities and those of others
- To use the school uniform to promote the ethos of a school
- To set an appropriate tone for education
- To promote a sense of pride in our school
- To identify the children as being part of the school, particularly when taking part in off-site activities
- To ensure that children are not made to feel different due to their socio-economic background
- To ensure that children are dressed in healthy and safe clothing suitable for their lessons
- To ensure that school uniform is cost-effective for parents
