Our Before and After School Club provides high-quality wraparound care for children of Mapledene Primary School in a safe, secure and welcoming environment on the school site. Our aim is to support families by offering reliable childcare alongside engaging social and educational activities.

Our Aim

The Club is designed to:

• Provide quality wraparound care outside of normal school hours

• Offer a healthy breakfast or after-school snack

• Deliver a range of social, recreational and educational activities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for all children

• Promote equality of opportunity in all activities

Safeguarding

The Club has its own Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads to ensure that safeguarding procedures are robust and consistent. This means all children have access to a known and trusted safeguarding contact while attending the wraparound provision.

The safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority.

Opening Times

Morning Wraparound (Breakfast Club)

7:45am – Start of the school day

Children attending the morning wraparound session will join the rest of the school for our free and universal Breakfast Bistro. 

Afternoon Wraparound (After School Club)
3:20pm – 5:30pm

Children must be collected promptly by the end of their booked session.

Session Costs

• Morning Wraparound (Breakfast Club): £6.00 per session

• Afternoon Wraparound (until 4:30pm): £6.50 per session

• Afternoon Wraparound (until 5:30pm): £9.00 per session

Morning Wraparound includes:

• Cereal

• Toast

• Fruit juice

Afternoon Wraparound includes:

• A healthy evening snack

We aim to promote healthy choices and a positive mealtime experience as part of our wraparound provision.

Drop-Off and Collection

All children should be:

• Dropped off at the High Flyers entrance for morning wraparound

• Collected from the High Flyers entrance for afternoon wraparound

Please ensure children are signed in and out in accordance with school procedures.
