At Mapledene, we believe that some of the most valuable learning experiences extend beyond the classroom.

Our residential visits give children opportunities to develop independence, resilience, problem-solving, teamwork and commitment while challenging themselves through exciting activities such as archery, climbing, canoeing and other outdoor adventures.

Children begin their residential journey in Year 4 with a two-day experience at Culmington Manor, before building on this in Year 6 with a three-day residential at PGL Boreatton Park.

These experiences encourage children to try new challenges, support one another and grow in confidence and independence.

Most importantly, they provide meaningful opportunities for personal development while creating lots of fun and lasting memories with their friends.
