At Mapledene, pupils in Year 6 can apply to be a House Captain.
At the start of each year, children who want to be a House Captain write a letter to their peers to explain why they think they would be good in the role. Pupils from across the whole school then use this information to vote for which candidate they think should become one of two House Captains for their House.
Our four houses are named after the patron saints of the countries that make up the United Kingdom.

Children across the school work together in their houses to show our school values of ‘Safety, Commitment, Aspirations’ to earn house points for their House.
This year our House Captains are:
St. Andrew's:
St. David's:
St. George's:
St. Patrick's:
