Helping children with Special Education Needs thrive at Mapledene

At Mapledene, Miss Johnson is our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo). Her role is to work closely with children, families, school staff and external professionals to ensure that every child with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) feels safe, happy and supported to achieve their full potential.

On this page, you will find information about the ways we support all children to thrive. We provide support as soon as a need is identified, regardless of whether a child has received a formal diagnosis.

If you would like to discuss the needs of your child, please do not hesitate to contact me either through the school office or by emailing senco@mapledeneschool.com
