At Mapledene, Spanish is led by Mr Collett, who also teaches Cedar class.

We follow the Kapow scheme of work, which provides a clear, structured approach to developing language skills. Kapow is used because it helps children build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish, while also fostering an appreciation of other cultures.

Spanish lessons are interactive, engaging, and designed to make every session meaningful and enjoyable for all children.
