At Mapledene, each child in Year 1 and above is in a house. They work as part of the team to earn house points from staff at school. House points may be awarded for things like:
Showing our school values of respect, co-operation and resilience
Going above and beyond to help an adult or child
Each week, house points are counted across the school and we have a house point league. Every week, the league is updated based on the house points across the school and is announced in Celebration Assemblies by our House Captains.
5 points are awarded the house with the most house points that week
3 points are awarded to the house with the second most house points that week
2 points are awarded to the house in third place that week
1 house point is awarded to the house with the least amount of house points that week
Check out our house point league table below to see how your house is doing this year.
Can you help your house win the league?
