At Mapledene, Music is coordinated by Miss Sanders, who also teaches across school and provides instrumental tuition.

Music is taught through our own carefully designed scheme of learning, which is aligned against the Kapow progression of skills and knowledge, which provides a structured approach to developing musical skills and creativity. This scheme helps children build confidence, explore different instruments and styles, develop listening and performance skills, and express themselves through music.

Music lessons are engaging, hands-on, and designed to make every session meaningful and enjoyable for all children.
