At Mapledene, Computing is led by Mr Mac, who also teaches Birch class.

We follow the Kapow scheme of work, which provides a clear, structured approach to developing computing skills. Kapow is used because it combines practical, creative activities with progression in digital literacy, coding, and online safety, helping children gain confidence and competence in using technology.

Computing lessons are hands-on, engaging, and designed to make learning meaningful and enjoyable for every child.
