School Uniform
Our school uniform was designed to achieve the following aims:
- To create a happy, secure, safe and caring environment in which all our children flourish and feel that they belong
- To be an inclusive school which sets high standards for all children, including disadvantaged and supports children and their families to achieve those standards.
- To be a school in which every child is able to be themselves and value their own unique qualities and those of others
- To use the school uniform to promote the ethos of a school
- To set an appropriate tone for education
- To promote a sense of pride in our school
- To identify the children as being part of the school, particularly when taking part in off-site activities
- To ensure that children are not made to feel different due to their socio-economic background
- To ensure that children are dressed in healthy and safe clothing suitable for their lessons
- To ensure that school uniform is cost effective for parents
Where to buy School uniform
Items with the school logo can be purchased directly from the school office. Non-branded items can be purchased from most supermarkets or other uniform outlets. In order to reduce costs for parents, there is no obligation for children to wear branded uniform.

Head coverings such as the hijab or patka for religious or cultural reasons are permissible.

Jewellery such as necklaces, chains, bracelets and rings are NOT to be worn in school as they are a safety risk for both the wearer and other children. If Children need to wear jewellery for recognised religious or medical reasons, please ensure you notify the school. The accidental pulling and catching of such items during play can cause severe injury and the school will not be responsible for any injury incurred as a result of wearing such items. Children with pierced ears are allowed to wear a pair of studs but these should be removed or taped over during P.E. and games sessions. Watches may be worn but should also be removed for P.E. Please note that smartwatches are not acceptable.

Hairstyles which represent membership of a ‘gang’ or banned organisation are not acceptable. Long hair (both boys and girls) must always be tied back for P.E. and other practical activities.

School PE Kit
Children in EYFS & KS1 should wear:
- A white t-shirt
- Navy blue/ black shorts
- Black pumps (no laces please)
They may also bring navy/ black jogging bottoms during cooler months or for outdoor PE.
Children in KS2 should wear:
- A white t-shirt
- Navy blue/ black shorts or jogging bottoms
- Black pumps (no laces please)
Trainers may also be worn during outdoor PE lessons; however, please only send your child with laces if they can do them up themselves.
