Whole School Survey (April 2026)
Thank you to all parents and carers for taking the time to complete this survey, and for sharing your views and feedback. Your responses are genuinely valued and help us to continue improving what we do here at Mapledene.
At Mapledene, nothing is ever done as a routine exercise or without purpose, everything we do is carefully considered and always with the best interests of our children at the heart of every decision we make. Your input plays an important role in helping us reflect, refine and make things even better for every child in our care.

Concerns handled properly:
While most parents are satisfied, a small number of negative responses may reflect instances where outcomes or resolutions did not align with expectations.
Decisions in children’s best interests:
A strong majority agree, though some disagreement may stem from differing views on specific decisions or individual circumstances.
Support for learning:
Nearly all parents feel their child is well supported, with no significant negative trend.
Recommendation:
The vast majority would recommend the school, reflecting high overall confidence among parents.
Overall, parental responses show very high levels of satisfaction with Mapledene, with strong agreement that children are happy, safe, well supported in their learning (including those with SEND), and that the school communicates effectively and acts in pupils’ best interests; where a small number of parents have expressed differing views, these highlight isolated experiences and provide useful feedback to continue refining and strengthening practice, rather than indicating any widespread issues.
Thank you.
