Year 6 Swimming Outcomes 2024-2025

During 2024-2025, children at Mapledene took part in swimming lessons in years 3, 4 and 5. Swimming lasted for a whole term and was taught by trained staff.

Percentage of children within Year 6 who met the National Curriculum requirements to:

Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres	70%
Use a range of strokes effectively (for example, front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke)	65%
