Good morning 5H and 5L! Happy Snow Day!

We hope that you are all doing well and that you are safe and warm at home today! If you are able to, try and get outside this morning and have a good play in the snow.

And here are a few ideas for some learning that you can do at home today:

English

• Complete your Added Extras on Doodle, focusing on using brackets, dashes and commas for parenthesis. Then, collect your daily stars.

• Last week, we focused on writing a wonderful description of Narnia, using plenty of amazing adjectives, similes and metaphors, and even some personification. Can you use these skills to describe the winter wonderland outside your front door today? Or you could even create your own fantasy story set in a snowy land. We would love to read some of these!

Maths

• Collect your daily stars on Doodle.

• Complete some wintery fractions challenges. You can wow us with everything you have remembered from our learning in school.
