Survey

Please send your children in dressed in their PE kit on Thursdays and Fridays. If your child can't do their shoe laces they must wear footwear that they can do up themselves.

Read Write Inc & Library

Your child should bring home a RWI book every 3 or 5 days (depending on what colour group they are in). Please spend some time listening to your child read and then make sure that the book is returned promptly so that the next one can be sent home.

Year 2 have access to the school library every other week- your child will have the opportunity to borrow a book providing that their previous one has been returned. Once these have been read and enjoyed, please encourage your child to keep it in their tray at school so that they have it ready to exchange when the opportunity arises.

Doodle

Doodle English and Maths homework is set every Thursday. This is a fantastic way for children to revisit the learning from the week (or practise a skill that needs some revision). Please encourage your child to complete this work; it is an important way of us helping the children to catch up after the unsettled year that it has been.
