5. How do the school know how much progress is being made by pupils with Special Educational Needs?
At Mapledene Primary School, we use a whole school tracking system called ‘Target Tracker ‘and also use the ‘Birmingham Language and Literacy Toolkit’. These help us to know what all children have learnt and what their next steps are.
This system is really good at showing us small steps of progress for children with additional needs so we know exactly how best to help them.
