Maths

Please have a go at the volume activities below, to consolidate our learning on volume.

Activity 1 - Count the cubes to work out the volume. Remember your strategies for counting, even when some of the cubes can't be seen.

Activity 2 - Use your times tables to work out the volume of the cuboids. Remember the formula: length x width x height.

Guided Reading

Have a go at reading through this poem, inspired by the amount of pollution found in rivers. Then, challenge yourself to answering the questions. Try 1-star, 2-star or 3-star depending on how confident you're feeling. You can mark your answers afterwards too.

Geography

Use your map work skills to locate and name different rivers that can be found around the United Kingdom. Use Google Maps or Bing Maps to help you.
